New Delhi: India witnessed further increase in Covid numbers, with 3,805 cases being registered in the last 24 hours, against 3,545 recorded during the same duration the previous day.
The country also registered 22 fatalities during the last 24 hours, the Health Ministry said.
With this, the cumulative death toll across the country has reached 5,24,024 and the country’s active cases stand at 20,303.
Nearly 3,168 patients have recovered in the last 24 hours, taking the cumulative recoveries to 4,25,54,416, it said.
The country’s daily positivity rate now stands at 0.78% and weekly positivity rate at 0.79%.

Yesterday, the country registered 3,545 fresh Covid cases and 27 fatalities in 24 hours.
A day earlier, the country registered 3,275 fresh Covid cases and 55 fatalities in 24 hours.
The country registered 3,205 fresh Covid cases and 31 fatalities during the previous 24 hours.

A day prior to that, the country registered 2,568 fresh cases and 20 fatalities in 24 hours.
On Monday morning, the country registered 3,157 fresh Covid cases and 26 fatalities in 24 hours.
The country registered 3,324 fresh Covid cases and 40 fatalities within 24 hours a day before.
