New Delhi: Covid numbers in India continue to be on the decline, with 16,051 single-day cases being reported in the last 24 hours against 19,968 registered the previous day.
The country also registered 206 Covid deaths during the last 24 hours, taking the cumulative number of fatalities to 5,12,109.
The active cases stand at 0.47%, taking the cumulative toll to 2,02,131.
The country’s daily positivity rate is at 1.93% and the Weekly Positivity Rate stands at 2.12%.
Nearly 37,901 patients have recovered in the last 24 hours, taking the cumulative recoveries to 4,21,24,284, the Ministry said.
Yesterday, the country registered 19,968 fresh Covid cases and 673 fatalities in 24 hours.
On Saturday morning, the country registered 22,270 fresh Covid cases and 325 fatalities in 24 hours.
Nearly, 25,920 new cases were recorded across the country in 24 hours, a day earlier.
A day prior to that, the country registered 30,757 new Covid cases and 541 fatalities in 24 hours.
The country registered 30,615 fresh Covid cases and 514 fatalities during the preceding 24 hours.
