New Delhi (NVI): Cricket legend Sachin Tendulkar, who tested positive for coronavirus last week, has been hospitalised as a precautionary measure under medical advice.

He took to Twitter to inform about the same and wrote, “Thank you for your wishes and prayers. As a matter of abundant precaution under medical advice, I have been hospitalised. I hope to be back home in a few days. Take care and stay safe everyone.”

Tendulkar was previously quarantining at home after testing positive following mild symptoms on March 27.

He also wished all the Indians and his teammates on the 10th anniversary of India’s historic World Cup win in 2011.

“Wishing all Indians & my teammates on the 10th anniversary of our World Cup win,” his tweet further read.
