New Delhi: India registered 12,847 fresh Covid cases and 14 fatalities in the last 24 hours, Union Health Ministry said this morning.
The active caseload stood at 63,063.
With 14 more fatalities, the total death toll due to the pandemic since 2020 rose to 5,24,817.
Nearly 7,985 patients have been recovered in the last 24 hours, taking cumulative recoveries to 4,26,82,697, it said.
Yesterday, the country registered 12,213 fresh Covid cases and 11 deaths in 24 hours.
A day prior to that, the country registered 8,822 fresh cases and 15 deaths in 24 hours.
On Tuesday last, the country registered 6,594 fresh cases and 6 fatalities in 24 hours,
The country registered 8,084 cases and 10 deaths in the last 24 hours, a day earlier.
On Sunday last, the country reported 8,582 fresh Covid cases and 4 deaths in 24 hours.
The country reported 8,329 new cases during the preceding 24 hours.
At least 10 deaths due to Covid were also registered during that period.
