New Delhi: India witnessed a marginal increase in single day Covid-cases, with 2,710 fresh cases being registered within the span of 24 hours yesterday, against 2,628 cases recorded a day earlier.

The country registered 14 fatalities in the last 24 hours, the Health Ministry said today.

With this the cumulative death toll across the country has reached 5, 24,539.

Nearly 2,296 patients have been recovered in the last 24 hours, taking cumulative recoveries to 4,26, 07,177, it said.

The country’s active caseload currently stands at 15,814, the Ministry said.

Yesterday, the country registered 2,628 fresh Covid cases and 18 fatalities within the span of 24 hours.

The country registered an increase of 2,124 cases and 17 fatalities in 24 hours a day earlier.

A day prior to that, the country registered 1,675 new Covid cases and 31 deaths in 24 hours.

The country reported 2,022 new Coronavirus cases and 46 deaths registered in 24 hours, a day earlier.

On Saturday last, 2,323 fresh Coronavirus cases and 25 fatalities, registered in the preceding 24 hours.
