New Delhi (NVI): Prime Minister Narendra Modi and President Ram Nath Kovind condoled the death of CPI leader Gurudas Dasgupta on October 31, saying he was a strong voice in Parliament.
Taking twitter, Modi Tweeted “Shri Gurudas Dasgupta Ji was one of the most committed and articulate proponents of his ideology. He was a strong voice in Parliament, whose interventions were keenly heard across the political spectrum. Saddened by his passing away. May his soul rest in peace.”
Dasgupta died at the age of 83. He was suffering from lung cancer for last several months.
