New Delhi (NVI): Schools in Delhi were reopened today for students of classes 9 and 11, around ten months after educational institutions were forced to shut down due to the coronavirus pandemic.
Delhi government has ordered the reopening of schools with proper covid-19 protocols in place.
Schools will frequently sanitise all the common areas such as classrooms, washrooms, and teachers’ rooms. The entry and exit of students will be through multiple gates and the class timings have been made staggered and shorter to prevent overcrowding.
Earlier on January 18, schools for classes 10 and 12 were resumed in Delhi in view of the board exams.
Several other states across India have already opened schools with precautionary measures.
