Quetta: Baloch Liberation Army (BLA) today said it has destroyed a gas pipeline in the industrial area of Hub town of Balochistan, sending out a message once again that exploitation of rich natural resources by Pakistan in the occupied territory would not be allowed.

“We have made it clear that no exploitative projects in Balochistan will be allowed to continue. Our attacks against corporations involved in such exploitation will be further intensified,” BLA spokesman Jeeyand Baloch said in a statement while claiming responsibility for the attack.

Earlier, on Thursday last, the BLA freedom fighters targeted and damaged a lorry truck “involved in plunder of Baloch national resources” near Khazenai in Kalat.

The BLA also claimed to have killed 4 Pakistani military personnel and injured 9 in two separate attacks in Panjgur three days back.

On Thursday morning, BLA fighters, on information from BLA’s intelligence wing, ambushed a convoy of Pakistani military on CPEC route near Saraduk Gomzan area of Panjgur, Baloch said.

Four enemy personnel in a vehicle were killed on the spot, while multiple were injured, he said.

Another vehicle, while trying to flee the area, crashed a short distance away, resulting in injuries to at least 7 military personnel, the BLA spokesman said.

In another attack, near Rakhsan Bridge in Panjgur, BLA fighters targeted a checkpoint of Pakistani occupying forces, he said.

Several grenades were launched at the enemy positions, injuring two personnel and damaging the enemy infrastructure, he added.
