Doda, July 09 (NVI):- The operation in Doda forests will resume tomorrow morning as it has been temporarily suspended.
A top police officer told News Vibes of India—(NVI) that search operation was temporarily suspended for the night and will be resumed Wednesday morning.
Earlier security forces tightened their cordon around a forest area in the higher reaches of Doda district on July 9 evening following an encounter with hiding terrorists, officials said.
There was an exchange of fire between terrorists and security forces for around two hours following which searches were started.
Preliminary information revealed that at least two terrorists were hit by the retaliatory action,but as of now there is no confirmation about killing of any terrorist.
