New Delhi (NVI): Terming a social media claim as fake, PIB’s Fact Check Unit today said that claim of Coronavirus being a side-effect of 5G towers testing, is false.
Debunking the claim, the Fact Check Unit advised that do not share misinformation related to COVID-19.

“Claim: The epidemic which is being named as coronavirus, is not corona but a side effect of testing of 5G tower,” PIB tweeted.
It further said, “PIB Fact Check: This claim is fake! Do not share misinformation related to COVID-19 pandemic and only rely on the credible sources of information.”
