New Delhi (NVI): A message with an order doing rounds on social media platforms claimed that the Central government has notified rules for the Citizenship Amendment Act (CAA).
Debunking such claims on social media, the fact check unit of the Government’s Press Information Bureau (PIB) said that the claim is fake and the government has not notified such rules.
“A message claiming that the Central Government has notified rules for the Citizenship Amendment Act (CAA) is doing the rounds on social media.
#PIBFactCheck: This claim is #Fake. No such rules have been notified by the government and nor do they exist,” PIB tweeted.
