Srinagar, July 04 (NVI):- Former Jammu and Kashmir Minister Syed Basharat Bukhari has rejoined the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) on July 4.
Bukhari previously served as a minister in the PDP-BJP coalition government under Mufti Muhammad Sayeed and then Mehbooba Mufti.
Bukhari initially left the PDP in 2019 to join the People’s Conference (PC) led by Sajad Gani Lone but was recently expelled from the PC.
His return to the PDP, under the leadership of Mehbooba Mufti, was announced at the PDP headquarters in Srinagar.
Bukhari expressed his enthusiasm about rejoining the party and working with Mehbooba Mufti, aiming to contribute to the PDP’s mission and vision.
PDP leaders believe his return will strengthen the party and help address the aspirations of the people of Jammu and Kashmir.
In contrast, another senior PC leader, Imran Raza Ansari, dismissed rumors of his potential return to the PDP, strongly rejecting any possibility of rejoining the party.(News Vibes of India)
