Doda (Jammu) , July 18 (NVI):- An encounter took place between security forces and terrorists in Kastigarh in Doda district of Jammu past midnight in which a few injuries have occurred, according to officials.
The gunfight took place after a group of terrorists opened fire on search parties in Zadan village at around 2 am, they said.
As per initial reports, two soldiers have received injuries and they have been evacuated to hospital, official sources said.
Operation in the area is going on.
Notably, in the last 3 days, this is the third incident of exchange of fire between terrorists and security forces in the same area in which four soldiers were killed.
