GMC Rajouri Employees Stage Work Suspension Protest; OPD Services Hit

Rajouri, Mar 12 (NVI): Non-gazetted employees of Government Medical College (GMC) Rajouri on Thursday observed a work suspension protest over several pending demands, including the release of 2.5 days’ salary and the framing of proper service rules.

According to officials, the employees, under the banner of the Medical Employees Federation, held the protest within the hospital premises.

Due to the protest, Outpatient Department (OPD) services were affected during the day, causing inconvenience to patients.

However, the protesting employees said that emergency services would continue as usual to ensure that critically ill patients do not face any disruption.(NVI)
