Govt moves to replicate good governance practices in J&K

Jammu (NVI): Government is actively seeking to replicate Good Governance Practices in Union Territories of Jammu & Kashmir and Ladakh and is bringing relevant national and state level organizations on common platform for the purpose.

In this regard, a two-day Regional Conference on Replication of Good Governance Practices in UTs of J&K and Ladakh was organized here today.

The objective of the conference is to bring national and state level organisations on the same platform to share experiences in Digital Governance, Citizen-Centric Governance and Capacity Building and

Personnel Administration etc, an official statement said.

Minister of State for PMO Dr. Jitendra Singh inaugurated the event along with Girish Chandra Murmu, Lieutenant Governor of the Union Territory of Jammu & Kashmir.

The Department of Administrative Reforms and Public Grievances (DARPG) has organized the regional conference. The Department has organized 31 Regional Conferences till date.

The Delegates from 19 States and 4 Union Territories are participating in the Conference.
