New Delhi (NVI): India recorded 2,57,299 new COVID-19 cases and 4,194 deaths in last 24 hrs, the Union Health Ministry said today.
The total number of active coronavirus cases now stands at 29,23,400 and the cumulative death toll is 2,95,525.
Yesterday, India reported 2,59,591 new COVID-19 cases and 4,209 deaths a span of 24 hours, showing a big jump in the single day fatalities the country.
The previous day, 2,76,110 new COVID-19 cases and 3,874 deaths were reported during 24 hours.
A day earlier, the country reported the highest single day Covid deaths of 4,529 along with 2,67,334 new cases in a span of 24 hours.
