India’s fresh Covid count drops below 1 lakh

COVID-19 threatens people with heart diseases, as winter hints at a second wave

New Delhi: Continuing the declining trend, the fresh single day cases of Covid in India dropped below 1 lakh as 86,498 cases were recorded in the last 24 hours, according to the the Union Health Ministry today.

The country also recorded 2123 deaths in the same period, as per the Ministry.

The total deaths due to coronavirus now stand at 3,51,309 while the cumulative active cases are 13,03,702.

Yesterday, the country’s reported single day cases were 1,00,636 and the deaths were 2427.

On Sunday, 1,14,460 new single day cases were recorded in the country along with 2677 deaths.

On Saturday last, the country reported 1,20,529 new Covid-19 cases and 3,380 deaths in a span of 24 hours.

On Friday, India reported 1,32,364 new COVID-19 cases and 2713 deaths in a period of 24 hours.

On Thursday, the country recorded 1,34,154 Covid-19 cases and 2,887 deaths in a span of 24 hours.

On Wednesday, the country reported 1,32,788 new Covid-19 cases and 3,207 deaths in 24 hours.

On Tuesday, 1,27,510 new single day cases were reported along with 2,795 deaths.

On Monday last, the country reported 1,52,734 new single day cases and 3,128 deaths in a span of 24 hours.
