Jitendra Singh Speaks to DC Udhampur After Bus Accident, Assures All Assistance

Jammu, Apr 20 (NVI): Union Minister of State in the Prime Minister’s Office Jitendra Singh on Monday said he has spoken to the Deputy Commissioner of Udhampur following a tragic road accident involving a passenger bus in the district.

In a post on X, Singh said the accident occurred at Kanote village when a bus travelling from Ramnagar to Udhampur met with an accident.

He said rescue operations were launched immediately after the incident and heavy casualties were feared.

“All possible assistance is being provided. The injured will be shifted for medical aid and arrangements are being made to airlift the seriously injured,” he said.

Singh added that he is in constant touch with the local administration and party workers to ensure timely relief and rescue efforts.(NVI)
