Police said that the top commander Zahid Rashid Bhat alias Zahid Tiger was among the two terrorists, who were killed while one was arrested in an encounter in Dadoora, Kangan area of Pulwama. “Killing of Zahid was a big success for the police and security forces,” police said.

Police further said that another slain terrorist was identified as Adnan Bhai of Pakistan.

The third terrorist captured alive was identified as Firdous Ahmed, who had recently joined militancy. Firdous is a resident of Doda district of Jammu.
