J&K Govt Orders Transfer of Three JKAS Officers

Jammu, Apr 13 (NVI): The Government of Jammu and Kashmir on Monday ordered a reshuffle in the administration, transferring and posting three JKAS officers with immediate effect.

An order issued by the General Administration Department, Ranjit Singh, JKAS, Special Secretary to the Government, Home Department, has been transferred and posted as Special Secretary in the Lieutenant Governor’s Secretariat.

Vaibhav Kohli, JKAS, Special Secretary in the Lieutenant Governor’s Secretariat, has been appointed as Excise Commissioner, J&K, replacing Subash Chander Chhibber, JKAS, who has been directed to await further orders of adjustment in the General Administration Department.

Meanwhile, Dr Sunil Sharma, JKAS, Additional Secretary to the Government, Home Department, has been transferred and posted as Additional Secretary in the Lieutenant Governor’s Secretariat.

The order stated that the transfers and postings have been made in the interest of administration.(NVI)
