J&K: Youth shot by gunmen in Srinagar last month, succumbs

Srinagar (NVI): The youth who was critically injured when gunmen fired at him in Soura area of Srinagar in the first week of December, has succumbed to his injuries this morning, officials said.

Pertinently, gunmen had fired on Nadif Ahmad Khan, 23, son of Muhammad Hanief Khan, resident of Bilal colony Soura in Buchpora. He had received a bullet in head and was being operated upon at SKIMS.

SKIMS officials said that his condition was critical and this morning he breathed his last.

They said the body has been handed over to the family for last rites.
