Kashmiri group slams Pakistan, wants demolition of terror camps in PoJK

New Delhi (NVI): Switzerland based United Kashmir People’s National Party (UKPNP) unit in District Kotli, in Pakistan Occupied Jammu Kashmir, unanimously in its resolution in bold and clear voice has said that the Gilgit-Baltistan is a historical part of Jammu and Kashmir.

“We condemn any attempt to merge those areas into Pakistan it declaring it as the provisional or permanent province of Pakistan. Altering the status of these areas wouldn’t only be a violation of the Pakistani constitution but simultaneously it would be violation of international laws and the United Nations resolutions.

The conference demanded no restriction on nationalists political parties to function, freedom of expression, and no restrictions on media as per international standards.

Above all, the conference expressed concern on independent rallies and processions held by the banned outfits of Pakistan in the region. The speakers highlighted communalism and extremism, posing a great threat to the fundamental human rights and for the regional peace. They vehemently opposed the terror infrastructure which must be dismantled. The terrorist organizations must stop their activities and such elements be expelled from all parts of the erstwhile state those are under current administration of Pakistan.

About the political prisoners, the conference strongly demanded their release immediately unconditionally. The conference also demanded that politically motivated cases against Baba Jan, Iftikhar Hussain, and their colleagues and the so-called case against journalist and researcher Tanveer Hussain be withdrawn and they be released unconditionally.
