Srinagar, May 10 (NVI) : Jammu and Kashmir Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha on Sunday handed over appointment letters to newly recruited constables during a ceremony held at Zewan in Srinagar.
Addressing the recruits, the Lieutenant Governor said the induction of fresh personnel would significantly strengthen the capabilities of the Jammu and Kashmir Police and further enhance the efficiency of the department.
He urged the newly appointed constables to uphold the glorious legacy of J&K Police with integrity, dedication and unwavering commitment towards national service.
The Lieutenant Governor also expressed confidence that the recruits would serve the people with honesty and professionalism while contributing towards peace and security in the Union Territory.(NVI)
