Srinagar, Sep 21 (NVI) :The Meteorological department on Monday forecast generally dry weather across Jammu and Kashmir till October 4, with brief spells of rain and light snowfall likely over some higher reaches on September 24 and September 27-28.
According to the MeT, feeble Western Disturbances are likely to affect the Union Territory on September 24 and 27.
“A brief spell of rain and light snow over higher reaches at a few places is likely during September 24 and September 27/28 towards evening,” the department said.
The prevailing weather conditions are favourable for harvesting, the MeT said, advising farmers to ensure safe storage of their produce, particularly during September 27-28.—(NVI)
