Srinagar, Sep 21 (NVI) The autumn session of the Jammu and Kashmir Legislative Assembly commenced here on Monday, with Chief Minister Omar Abdullah saying the House would provide an opportunity for meaningful debate and constructive deliberations on issues concerning the people.
In a post on X, Abdullah said the session would focus on discussions related to the welfare and aspirations of the people of Jammu and Kashmir.
The chief minister said his government was committed to addressing public issues through democratic discourse in the House.
The seven-day session is expected to take up various matters related to development, governance and public concerns in the Union Territory.—(NVI)
