US Vice President Mike Pence and Second Lady Karen Pence

New Delhi (NVI): US Vice President Mike Pence and Second Lady Karen Pence have tested negative for the coronavirus today, Pence’s spokesman said.

The results came just hours after President Donald Trump and the First Laddy Melania Trump announced they had tested positive.

Taking to Twitter, spokesman Devin O’Malley said, “Taking to Twitter, spokesman Devin O’Malley said, “As has been routine for months, Vice President Pence is tested for COVID-19 every day. This morning, Vice President Pence and the Second Lady tested negative for COVID-19.”

“Vice President Pence remains in good health and wishes the Trumps well in their recovery,” he added.

Mike Pence is first in line to the presidency, followed by the speaker of the House, Democrat Nancy Pelosi, and Senate president pro tempore, Republican Sen. Chuck Grassley of Iowa.

So far, more than 7.27 million COVID-19 cases, and at least 2,07,816 deaths, have been reported in the United States, more than any other nation, according to Johns Hopkins University.
