New Delhi (NVI): A massive blaze broke out at a mall in Mumbai that houses a Covid-19 hospital on the third floor. A total of 10 people have died so far in the fire that broke out in the wee hours today.

Meanwhile, over 70 others were evacuated from Sunrise Hospital in Mumbai’s Bhandup West.

Following the incident, 30 patients were shifted to Mulund Jumbo centre, a Covid-19 treatment facility, where four are in serious condition — two patients are in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU), and two are on oxygen support, according to media reports

The other patients were admitted to different hospitals, while non-Covid patients were shifted to Fortis Hospital.

As many as 14 fire engines and 10 jumbo water tankers were pressed into action after the fire was reported.
