New Delhi (NVI): The nation today paid tributes to victims and the heroes of 26/11 Mumbai Attacks, who made the supreme sacrifice while fighting Pakistani terrorists.
On the 12th anniversary of the Mumbai attacks, political leaders, including Vice President M Venkaiah Naidu and Home Minister Amit Shah paid tributes to the security personnel and all those people who lost their lives in the attack.
Taking to Twitter, M Venkaiah Naidu said, “I pay my tributes to the martyrs of 26/11 Mumbai terror attack. Nation will always remember their valour and sacrifice. My solidarity with the families who were victims of this dastardly attack.”

Amit Shah also mourned the loss of those who lost their lives during the attack.
“I pay tribute to all those who lost their lives in Mumbai 26/11 terror attacks and convey their condolences to their families. Grateful tribute to the brave security personnel who faced the terrorists in these attacks. This nation will always be grateful to your bravery and sacrifice,” Shah tweeted in Hindi.

On November 26, 2008, as many as 166 people were killed and over 300 were injured, including foreigners when 10 Pakistani terrorists of the LeT attacked five major sites in Mumbai.
The terror attacks lasted for four days during which terrorists targeted crowded and posh areas of the city, including Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus (CSMT), iconic Taj Hotel, Oberoi and Trident hotels.
They held people inside Taj Hotel as hostages. On November 27, National Security Guards were called in and the operation ended on November 29.
