Srinagar, May 25 (NVI): The National Investigation Agency (NIA) on Monday conducted searches at multiple locations across Kashmir as part of an ongoing investigation into terror-related activities, officials said.
The raids were carried out simultaneously in parts of Srinagar and other districts of the Valley in connection with a crackdown on terror networks, overground workers and suspected terror-funding cases, they said.
According to officials, searches were also conducted at the banned Jamaat-e-Islami-linked Siraj-ul-Uloom in Imam Sahib area of Shopian district.
NIA teams, assisted by Jammu and Kashmir Police and paramilitary forces, searched several residential premises linked to suspects as part of the operation, officials added.(NVI)
