Srinagar, Oct 04 (NVI) Army Commander Northern Command Lt Gen Pratik Sharma on Saturday chaired a comprehensive security review and coordination meeting in Srinagar, reviewing the prevailing security situation and operational preparedness, officials said.
The meeting focused on the current security environment, operational readiness and coordination mechanisms among various security agencies.
Lt Gen Sharma emphasised the need for enhanced inter-agency synergy, real-time intelligence sharing and integrated coordination to strengthen operational preparedness and ensure a rapid response to emerging security challenges.
He also stressed the importance of close coordination among security agencies to enhance the effectiveness of joint operations, officials said.
DGP Nalin Prabhat, IGP Kashmir Sujit Kumar and senior officers from other security agencies attended the meeting.—(NVI)
