OGW Held in J-K’s Kathua for Allegedly Aiding Terrorist Infiltration

Jammu, Jun 30 (NVI): An alleged overground worker (OGW) was arrested in Jammu and Kashmir’s Kathua district on Tuesday for allegedly facilitating the infiltration of terrorists, police officials said.

The accused was apprehended during an operation in Kathua and is suspected to have assisted terrorists in infiltrating into the Union Territory, a senior police officer said.

The arrest comes amid intensified anti-terror operations being carried out by security forces ahead of the annual Amarnath Yatra.

Police said further investigation is underway to ascertain the extent of the accused’s involvement and identify any other links in the alleged terror support network.
