Srinagar, Apr 26 (NVI): An old grenade was found in an orchard in north Kashmir’s Sopore area on Sunday, prompting the deployment of a bomb disposal squad, Police said.
The explosive was noticed by a local resident of Warpora Sopore, while he was working in his orchard, they said.
He immediately informed Police Post Warpora, following which a police team along with a bomb disposal (BD) squad rushed to the spot.
The area was secured and necessary precautionary measures were taken, They said, adding that further details are awaited.(NVI)
