New Delhi: Omicron cases in India have increased to 781, with 128 new cases being reported in the last 24 hours, raising the overall single day Covid numbers to 9,195 along with 302 deaths.
According to the Health Ministry, Delhi has recorded the highest number of Omicron cases followed by Maharashtra.
The total number of Omicron cases in Delhi has risen to 238 and Maharashtra to 167.
Meanwhile, the country reported 9,195 new Covid cases and 302 fatalities in the last 24 hours, the Ministry said.
With this, the country’s active cases now stand at 77,002, while the cumulative death toll has gone up to 4,80,592.
Around 7,347 patients have recovered in the last 24 hours, taking the cumulative tally of recovered patients to 3,42,51,292.
The vaccination figure has reached 1,43,15,35,641 across the country with inoculating 64,61,321 beneficiaries in the last 24 hours, it said.
Yesterday, the country reported 653 Omicron cases with 6,358 new Covid cases and 293 deaths in the last 24 hours.
The country reported 6,531 fresh Covid cases and 315 fatalities in 24 hours, a day earlier.
A day prior to that, the country reported 6,987 fresh Covid cases and 422 Omicron variant cases in 24 hours.
The country reported 6,650 new Covid cases and 387 fatalities in 24 hours.
During the previous 24 hours, the country reported 6,650 fresh Covid cases and 374 deaths.
