New Delhi: States and Union Territories still have over 1.53 crore COVID vaccines of the total 26 crore doses that were provided by the government so far, the Union Health Ministry said today.
In addition, they are expected to get over 4 lakh vaccine doses in the next 3 days, the Ministry said in a statement.
More than 26 crores (26,64,84,350) vaccine doses have been provided to States/UTs so far, through the Government of India (free of cost channel) and direct state procurement category, it said.
Of this, the total consumption, including wastages is 25,12,66,637 doses (as per data available at 8 AM today).
More than 1.53 crore (1,53,79,233) COVID Vaccine doses are still available with the States/UTs to be administered.
Furthermore, more than 4 lakh (4,48,760) vaccine doses are in the pipeline and will be received by the States/UTs within the next 3 days, the statement read.
