Pak intruder held along International Border in Jammu’s Samba

New Delhi (NVI): A Pakistani intruder was apprehended by alert Border Security Force troops late last night along International Border in Jammu’s Samba, BSF said today.

The Pakistani national, who has been identified as Raja Hamid, was caught around 2.30 am at BOP (Border Out Post) Chak Dulma sector in Samba, BSF said, adding that further investigation is underway.

“On dated 21 March 2021, during night hours, on the International Border of Samba, the alert BSF troops observed suspicious movement of one Pak national who crossed IB but was nabbed ahead of fencing by the troops. Further details are being ascertained,” BSF said in a statement.

In another incident, a Pakistani intruder was shot dead by BSF along International Border near Bikaner in Rajasthan while he was trying to cross the fence and enter Indian territory.

“#BSF foiled #attempt of Pak intruder. Suspicious movement of Pak intruder detected ahead of #fence in #Indian_territory in AOR of #Bikaner, Intruder didn’t stop despite challenging, Sensing threat, #BSF fired & shot dead Pak intruder,” BSF Rajasthan tweeted.

On February 8, BSF had shot dead a Pakistani intruder along IB in same Samba district of Jammu division. The incident took place near the Chak Faquira border post in the Samba sector at around 9:45 am.
