Pakistan: 7 Army men killed in 2 attacks

Peshawar: Pakistan Army lost 7 personnel in 2 attacks in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa since last night.

Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) ambushed an Army patrol vehicle in Pada Chinar district of Karam Agency, Kohat province last night, the Islamist organization said today.

In this attack, 4 army personnel were killed and some others injured, TTP spokesman Muhammad Khurasani said in a statement.

He said the vehicle was burnt to ashes in this ambush.

Today, a suicide bomber, driving a vehicle, targeted an Army post in general area Miran Shah, North Waziristan District.

The bomber exploded himself near the post, killing 3 Army personnel — a Naib Subedar, a Naik and a Sepoy, according to the military spokesperson.
