Pakistan: 7 military men killed, 6 injured in TTP attacks

Peshawar: Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) today said it killed at least 7 Pakistani military personnel and injured 6 in separate attacks at different places since last night.

The TTP cadres ambushed a patrol party of Pakistan Frontier Corps (FC), a paramilitary force, in Sarki Road area of ​​Tehsil Jamrud of Peshawar province last night, its spokesman Muhammad Khurasani said in a statement.

At least 3 FC personnel were killed & 2 seriously injured in the attack, he said.

The TTP activists also carried out an attack on the Pakistan Army in Tangi area of ​​Loi Mamond district of Bajaur Agency in Malakand province last night, he said.

At least, 3 Army personnel were killed and one was injured in this attack, Khurasani said.

Earlier, one army officer was killed and three others were injured in an operation on the army in Charming district of Bajaur Agency, the spokesman said.
