Jammu (NVI): Pakistan today again targeted forward posts and villages along the International Border (IB) in Hiranagar sector of Kathua district in J&K’s Jammu region, defence officials said.
They said that the Border Security Force (BSF) troops were retaliating befittingly to the Pakistani firing.
The Pakistani troops had resorted to unprovoked firing in Kathua district on Sunday also which was retaliated effectively by BSF troops.
The latest ceasefire violation in the sector, after several days of lull, has forced the border residents to spend the night in underground bunkers.
