Kupwara, June 12 (NVI): A 19-year-old Pakistani national was apprehended by local villagers in the Seemari area of Karnah near the Line of Control (LoC) in north Kashmir’s Kupwara district on Friday and subsequently handed over to the police, officials said.
The individual has been identified as Ashraf Khan, son of Jaidev Khan, a resident of Muzaffarabad in POK
According to officials, the youth was noticed by villagers in the Seemari area under the jurisdiction of Police Post Teetwal in Karnah at around this evening
The villagers detained him and informed the police, following which he was taken into custody further questioning is underway, They added.(NVI)
