Srinagar, July 27 (NVI): On 25th foundation day of People’s Democratic Party (PDP), President of the Party Mehbooba Mufti said that her party had decided to collaborate with Prime Minister Narendra Modi in 2014 with hope that he will emulate the governance pattern of former Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee but he didn’t uttered a word that people of Kashmir were with wishing to listen.

While addressing workers in Srinagar, Mehbooba said that they were hoping that Modi would follow the footprints of Atal Bihari Vajpayee but he didn’t.

She said that her party tried to work for the development and peace in Kashmir and claimed that her party had done some work in 2003-2006 that other parties failed to do in 70 years.

She said that her party is still committed to work for the welfare of the people of Jammu and Kashmir.

She alleged that people are being forced in Kashmir to take flags of BJP.

She said that some people are being asked to take flags of BJP, otherwise they will face action that is they will put in Jail.

She said that the Task force, Ikhwaan and POTA was ended by the Mufti lead government in 2002 but that is being revived again nowadays.

She thanked her party workers for continuing their support to the party despite facing many problems in recent past.
