Srinagar, Aug 03 (NVI): BJP National General Secretary Tarun Chugh has lauded Prime Minister Narendra Modi for his efforts in implementing the principles of Dr. B.R. Ambedkar’s constitution through the policy of “Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas” (Together with All, Development for All).
Chugh emphasized how the government’s initiatives have transformed the lives of people in Jammu and Kashmir, particularly through the flagship Ayushman Bharat health insurance scheme
Tarun Chugh stated that PM Modi’s government is committed to fostering an inclusive and equitable society, aligning with Dr. Ambedkar’s vision of a just and prosperous nation.
He pointed out that the policy of “Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas” is not just a slogan but a guiding principle that has shaped various government initiatives aimed at uplifting marginalized and underserved communities across the country.
He said that it was NC, PDP and Congress that prevented the implementation of Ambedkar’s constitution in J&K.
Chugh highlighted the Ayushman Bharat-Pradhan Mantri Jan Arogya Yojana (PM-JAY) as a transformative health insurance scheme that provides coverage of up to Rs. 5 lakh per family per year for secondary and tertiary care hospitalization.
He noted that this scheme has been instrumental in ensuring that quality healthcare is accessible to all, especially in regions like Jammu and Kashmir.
“The Ayushman Bharat scheme is revolutionizing healthcare in Jammu and Kashmir by providing financial protection to millions of families. It has empowered people to seek medical care without the fear of financial burden,” Chugh stated.
Chugh elaborated on the specific impact of the health insurance scheme in Jammu and Kashmir, where thousands of beneficiaries have received free treatment under the program.
He mentioned that the scheme has significantly reduced out-of-pocket expenses for healthcare, enabling people to focus on their livelihoods and improve their quality of life.
