New Delhi, Apr 14 (NVI): Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Tuesday held a telephonic conversation with US President Donald Trump during which the two leaders reviewed progress in bilateral ties and discussed ways to further strengthen cooperation across key sectors.
In a post on X, Modi said the discussions focused on advancing the India–US Comprehensive Global Strategic Partnership and enhancing collaboration in areas of mutual interest.
The two leaders also exchanged views on regional developments, particularly the situation in West Asia, and underscored the importance of maintaining peace and stability in the region.
They emphasised the need to ensure that the Strait of Hormuz remains open and secure for global trade and energy supplies, the Prime Minister said.(NVI)
