Poonch, Oct 7 (NVI) A Woman from Pakistan-occupied Kashmir (PoK), who was apprehended by security forces earlier this month, was sent back to Pakistan through the Chakkan Da Bagh crossing point here on Wednesday, officials said.
The girl, identified as Samiya Azeem, daughter of Mohammad Azeem and a resident of Bains Gala in Seri area of Khuiretta tehsil in Kotli district, was apprehended by the Army on October 2, they said.
After completion of the required legal formalities, the girl was taken to the Chakkan Da Bagh crossing by the in-charge of Lam police post along with an escort vehicle and handed over for her return to Pakistan, officials said.
