Srinagar: In a swift operation, Jammu and Kashmir Police tonight killed 2 terrorists, including a Pakistani, in an encounter in which one cop also received a minor injury.
The encounter took place in Bemina area of Srinagar district and the slain terrorists belonged to Pakistan-based Lashkar-e-Taiba outfit, Police said.
“Two #terrorists of proscribed terror outfit LeT neutralised by Srinagar Police in a swift #encounter in Bemina area of #Srinagar. One policeman also received minor injury,” Kashmir Police tweetes, quoting IGP Kashmir Vijay Kumar.

“As per the documents and other #incriminating materials, one of the killed #terrorist has been identified as Abdullah Goujri, resident of Faisalabad, #Pakistan. A big success,” IGP Kashmir added.
He said it was the same group of terrorists, who escaped from an encounter site in Sopore sometime back.
“We have been tracking their movement,” IGP tweeted.

As per documents recovered from another killed terrorist, he has been identified as Adil Hussain Mir @ Sufian @ Musab of Anantnag district.
“As per police records, he crossed over to #Pakistan in 2018 on visit VISA from Wagah,” the IGP said.
