Reasi, Aug 7 (NVI): A 22-year-old pony operator was found dead under mysterious circumstances in a water tank in Jammu and Kashmir’s Reasi district on Friday, police officials said.
The deceased was identified as Basharat Ahmed, a resident of Sildhar area of Mahore in Reasi district.
Officials said the body was recovered from a water tank in the Matyal area of Katra after police were informed about the incident.
The body was shifted to the Community Health Centre (CHC) Katra for post-mortem examination.
Police have initiated inquest proceedings to ascertain the cause of death, officials said.(NVI)
