Srinagar, Aug 21 (NVI): Congress MP Rahul Gandhi, who is on a visit here to Srinagar, this evening stopped at the famous Erina ice cream store in Lal Chowk.

The visit attracted attention as locals, along with media men gathered to have a glimpse of the leader relishing some of the local delicacies of the city.

According to the details available with the News Vibes of India (NVI), before going to the ice cream store, Gandhi was spotted at the historic Ahdoos Hotel, where he took dinner in the company of close associates.

Ahdoos is known for its traditional Kashmiri cuisine, and has long been a favourite haunt of locals and visitors alike to the city.

According to sources, the Congress leader will preside over a late-night meeting. Details of the agenda are under wraps. This visit comes at a time when political developments in Jammu and Kashmir are being closely observed.
