Srinagar, Jan 18(NVI): In the wake of 16 mysterious deaths in Rajouri’s Budhal area, Union Home Minister Amit Shah has directed the formation of an inter-ministerial team to investigate the incidents and determine their cause.
The team, led by the Ministry of Home Affairs, is scheduled to visit the affected village on January 19.
The deaths, which have occurred in three separate incidents over the past six weeks, have left the region in shock and authorities searching for answers. The team will comprise experts from the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Ministry of Agriculture, Ministry of Chemicals and Fertilizers, and Ministry of Water Resources. Additionally, specialists in animal husbandry, food safety, and forensic science will assist in the investigation.
As per an official statement, the team will work in collaboration with the local administration to identify the root cause of the deaths. They will also focus on providing immediate relief and implementing precautionary measures to prevent such tragedies in the future.
“Experts from some of the country’s most reputed institutions have been mobilized to address the situation and ascertain the factors leading to these deaths,” the statement reads.
This decisive step comes as the affected community awaits answers and reassurances regarding public safety. The findings of the inter-ministerial team are expected to bring clarity to the situation and guide further action.(News Vibes of India)
