Srinagar, Aug 02 (NVI): The State Investigation Agency (SIA) of Jammu and Kashmir has attached immovable property of a top Pakistan-based Hizbul Momineen/Hizbul Mujahideen terrorist Kifayat Rizvi in Budgam district of Kashmir.
The immovable property — a piece of land measuring 3 Marlas in Sharifabad HMT area of Budgam — has been attached on the orders of a court in Jammu, an SIA spokesman said.
Kifayat Rizvi, who is presently in Pakistan and operates from there, has been found involved in terror funding through an Overground Worker Fayaz Ahmad Bhat in Kashmir, the spokesman said.
Fayaz Ahmad Bhat has been arrested for distributing terror funds on the directions of Kifayat Rizvi, the spokesman said.
After the arrest of Bhat, SIA filed supplementary chargesheet on 05.12.22 against him and his handler Kifayat Rizvi.
Kifayat Rizvi was chargesheeted Under Section 299 of CrPC.
He said the SIA took over the case on April 19, 2022 when one Mohd. Shareef Shah was arrested along with huge amount of narco terror cash.
Shah was arrested on charges that he was working on the directions of Pakistan’s intelligence agency ISI and their agents in Pakistan for the purpose of financing Jammu-based separatists to carry out subversive activities against the sovereignty, integrity and security of India, the spokesman said.
Later, one primary and four supplementary chargesheets were submitted before the Hon’ble designated NIA court, Jammu against 18 accused, including Mohd Shareef Shah, former minister of J&K Jatinder Singh @ Babu Singh, HM terrorist from Doda Mohd Hussain Khateeb, Fayaz Ahmad Bhat and Kifayat Rizvi.
The other accused included in the supplementary chargesheet are Mubashir Mushtaq Fafoo, Mohd Rafiq Najar, Aijaz Ahmad Sayam, Farooq Ahmad Naikoo (HM terrorist from Baramulla), Mohd Arshad, Syed Ashiq Elahi, Tariq Ahmad Malla (HM terrorist from Pulwama), Mohd Sharief Chechi of Uri, Farooq Ahmad Jungal (an ex-Sarpanch of Nambla Uri), Saif Din (a police selection grade constable), Javid Chalkoo (HM terrorist operating from PoK), Hamidullah Khuroo and Farooq Ahmad Shawl (both HM terrorists operating from Pakistan), SIA added.
Twelve among them have been arrested by SIA while six are evading their arrest as they are presently in Pakistan and declared proclaimed offenders by the court, he said.
SIA in is process to attach properties of some more terrorists operating from Pakistan as a part of its crackdown on terror operatives in J&K. (News Vibes of India)
