Peshawar: In yet another attack targeting minorities in Pakistan, a Sikh shop owner was today shot and injured here in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Province by two terrorists.
Tarlok Singh, who runs a grocery shop, was fired at by the motorcycle-borne attackers in Rashid Garhi area of Peshawar, according to officials.
He suffered bullet injuries in his leg.
The assailants fled after firing the shots.
Later, Islamic State Khorasan Province (ISKP) took responsibility for the attack, saying Tarlok was shot using Pistols.
The latest incident comes after a series of targeted attacks on religious minorities, including Sikhs and Hindus, in Pakistan, besides their Holy places.
