Srinagar, Mar 02 : At least six security personnel sustained minor injuries during widespread protests that erupted across several parts of Kashmir following the killing of Iran’s supreme leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, officials said on Monday.
Security forces dispersed protesters at multiple locations to prevent the situation from escalating and to maintain law and order, they said.
Authorities have placed the region on high alert and imposed strict security restrictions as a precautionary measure, officials added.—(NVI)
